Police seeking indecent exposure suspect

Palo Alto police are searching for a middle-aged man who exposed himself Thursday on a bike path near Page Mill Road.

A woman called police about 3:43 p.m. to report that she was biking on the 1400 block of Hanover Street when she saw a man standing behind a chain-link fence, according to police. He exposed himself as she rode past.

The suspect was described as a Hispanic male in his 40s, about 5 feet 10 inches tall and 170 pounds. He had short, wavy black hair and was clean-shaven and potbellied. He wore a light blue T-shirt and blue jeans.

Officers checked the area but couldn't find anyone matching that description. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call police at 650-329-2406.
