Breaking News: Authorities search for suspect after Redwood city stabbing
Detectives for the San Mateo County Sheriff's department are looking for a teenage boy suspected of stabbing a 21-year-old man in unincorporated Redwood City Monday night.The stabbing, which happened just before 6 p.m. Monday in the 2700 block of Blenheim Avenue in the North Fair Oaks neighborhood, left the victim with four knife wounds to his neck and head, sheriff's officials said.
Edgar Hernandez, a Redwood City resident, was taken to Stanford Hospital for emergency treatment.
His condition was not immediately available.
Officials described the suspect as a 15-year-old Hispanic boy, 5 feet 6 inches tall, 150 pounds with brown eyes and black hair.
